Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante: W12 CAG
The car was first registered in July 2000 having been hand built for the original owner, Mr Malcolm Bowker.
The car has a plaque confirming this on the drivers side floor sill . Malcolm loved the car and enjoyed owning it for eight years when I purchased it from him in July 2008.
The car was used by AMOC to display on their official stand at the International Classic Motor show in November 2000 and I still have their letter thanking Malcolm for the use of his car.
I had always had a deep love for the DB7 and looked at many cars when I was looking to buy but a soon as I saw Malcolm’s car I knew it was exactly what I had always dreamt of owning.
The car has now completed just 13,400 miles and as I took early retirement last December, the plan was to use the car and enjoy it much more. Sadly, the virus has meant that all our AMOC plans have been put on hold.
The car has a full AM Service history and is serviced every year regardless of how few miles it will have completed over the previous twelve months.
The car is in really good condition and is an absolute pleasure to drive and it still gives me a massive buzz every time I press the starter button
The car has been cherished and well looked after from day one. Any car that is twenty years old will have its little problems to manage and fix as you go but thankfully nothing too serious so far ( he says touching wood !!).
It is my pride & Joy and I just love driving it – There is nothing like driving an Aston Martin.
