2021 Concours Classes
Apologies!! Text as follows:
I spent some time searching for a manual DB7i6 and viewed this car in January 2018. It had covered 85,000 miles. The fact that it was a limited edition was attractive and the colour scheme appealed. However, although it had been serviced very regularly (a total of 20 services) and had numerous invoices confirming various replacement parts, there was extensive surface rust on the underside and on the suspension components. There were also a number of mechanical items that required attention. Nevertheless, I purchased the car in February 2018.
Over the past three years, in addition to servicing the car, I have dealt with the rust, fortunately nothing structural, and several other mechanical repairs including replacing the windscreen cowl, a/c compressor, suspension bushes and joints, exhaust manifolds, shock absorbers, oil cooler O rings, gearbox mount and coolant hoses. Fairly extensive paintwork correction was also required as well as some tidying of the interior.
The car now has 88,000 miles and hopefully there is not too much more to do as I am not getting any younger!
Looks very tidy for the miles. Lovely
