This 1959 DB MkIII is shown with a 1957 DB 2/4 MkII, which both have been in the family since the 1960's. The MkIII was purchased in 1964 for $2,500.00, and was a daily driver by my dad, Russell P. Taft Esq. It is a matching numbers car, which has been maintained, and never fully restored. (We fix what breaks, or looks bad.) It sat disused for 30 years, and my siblings and I brought the car back to life, in time for dad to drive it, before losing his eyesight at 89 years old. He had about 9 months of "stick time" after it was running again. The 007 license plate is a nice coincidence, and is the original plate from the 1960s. The triple carbs are factory original for the DBD motor. This car is NOT a trailer queen, and is driven regularly to car shows, special events and has been included in a music video.

007, not a trailer queen, brilliant!
AMOC badge. A rare version, good to see being used. Interior looking good and could be original. Paintwork looks flawless and shining. Engine has had some tuning in its life, Great example of the model.
Thank you! Although unrestored, we fix what breaks or wears out. So, maintained throughout its life.
