For my entire life I have always admired Aston Martins and dreamed of one day owning one. The engineering is amazing, as is the attention to detail. Most of all I think we can all agree there is not a more beautiful motorcar on the planet. When I saw this beauty in amazing Cobalt Blue, there was no longer any choice, I had to own it. It was love at first sight, and that love that continues to grow the more I drive it. Mine is the S model with a VelocityAP tune, secondary cat delete, and remote exhaust bypass control to unleash the roar on demand. The extra bhp are much appreciated, as are the six piston calipers. The engine is cranked by a Braille Lithium battery, producing the trademark startup growl. The sight, sound, feel, and even the smell transport me to another world where I can leave my cares behind and enjoy the thrills of motoring. Thank you Mr. Callum!
Here is my baby taking a break along the Pacific Coast Highway. I purchased the car in LA, in immaculate condition and only 14k miles. Since I live in the foothills of northern California, I took the opportunity to bring my son along and drive home on the road less traveled. We had a wonderful and memorable drive along the California coast from LA up the PCH through Big Sur and on to Pebble Beach/Monterey enjoying the famous 17-mile drive just before sunset. An amazing drive in an amazing car that neither of us will ever forget.
The S model adds this beautiful side skirt and elongated duck bill spoiler.
My V8V S has clear tail lights and a Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser.
The front has been updated with a Carbon Fiber Diffuser, Carbon Fiber Grille, Carbon Fiber side strakes and clear marker lights.
The interior is donned in transparent piano black, and the dash buttons have been upgraded to crystal. The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames the 220-mph speedometer and the signature reverse-sweep tachometer.
I love the Piano Black arm rests, and "Triple S" stitching on door
Special Vantage S moniker etched in blue stitching really sets apart the black leather seats.
The 4.7-liter V8 is rated at 430 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque in Vantage S spec thanks to an improved intake and revised engine management programming. The VelocityAP tune adds a bit more power. Catch-can added to reduce blow-by. The Vantage S is equipped with stiffer springs, bushings, and dampers. That combined with the integrated strut braces keeps it flat even in high speed cornering.
The car really is a dream come true, and I look forward to many years of happy ownership.
