DB9 Coupe named Krakatoa by me because of the Volcano Red paintwork and the fact is a cracking motor car cheesy I know. This vehicle is one of 8 Coupe’s painted in this colour that remain in the UK, out of a total of 33 painted Volcano Red, this has been confirmed by Steve Waddingham. I also have an electronic email copy of the original factory build sheet. I purchased the car in January 2017 from JCT600 Leeds. It was a one owner car with 14000 miles on the clock. The car is known at concours having participated in 2017 St Athan and 2019 Wormsley with a 5th and 3rd place respectively. On the day of concours the car will be 7 years old and has covered over 36000 wonderful miles. Every 2 years the car participates in a European Road Trip with RallyforHeroes raising money for SSAFA the Armed Forces oldest charity. Driving 5 miles for every service person that lost their lives in the Afghan conflict this equates to 2500 miles on some of the best roads and passes that Europe has to offer sadly this years event has been postponed due to Covid 19. This is why the car carries the Collins Aerospace livery as they have sponsored the car. The car has been displayed at the Autosport Show at the NEC 2017, 2019, and DSEI 2017 2019 at the Excel Centre now the Nightingale London Hospital. The Chief’s of staff for the Army,Navy and RAF as well as the Minister for Defence have all been photographed with the car. Pictures taken 28/5/2020.
