I had always dreamt of owning an Aston Martin and watched too many Bond films when I should have been studying. My ownership dream finally became a reality just before the first lockdown when I bought a three year old Vantage S after a relatively short, and far more simple, search than I had been expecting. I had always been drawn to the lines of this car and believe it to be a timeless design, that car enthuiasts will never tire of. The exhaust note is also a little intoxicating!
The car is finished in Magnetic Silver, which was introduced for the DB11 in 2017 and as a result there are just 25 RHD V8 Vantage S in Magnetic Silver and 9 GT8s. When this paintwork is combined with with Sportshift II gearbox, bright chrome and grille and 5 spoke silver wheels, this car is certified by AMHT as ‘One of One’. As it matched my search criteria, I was a very lucky boy!
Since buying the car last February, we haven’t had the chance to really enjoying it as we have been unable to do what it’s was bought for, but with the encouraging news out there, I hope that all of us will be able to get out and enjoy these wonderful cars very soon.
