Way back as a child I always loved cars, having a collection of matchbox cars, then along came James Bond in his DB5 in the film Goldfinger and I was hooked, at that young age I never thought that I would ever in all my dreams own an Aston Martin. With work and two beautiful daughters the thought of an Aston Martin seemed to be getting further away, but I was determined that one day my dream would come true, my wife, Claire announced that she was pregnant, so I thought my dream was over. However, Claire decided that he beloved M2 Competition could go and make way for the Aston Martin. A trip to Sevenoaks and a selection of Vantage's, being told to drive the V8 first, I was in love, then a 2014 V12s, it was at that point, well maybe after the engine started that I had to have it, my 40 year dream was about to become true. Now we all know that we don't make the decisions, so a call to Claire and she said yes. That was in February 2020, it truly was a dream come true. Driving it home I couldn't wait to show a 4 month pregnant Claire this beautiful car, she cried and was overjoyed with my child like face. Covid hit and my dream has pretty much sat in the garage for over a year, I must confess that I often sit in it with a glass of wine and dream of where we will take it. The year wasn't over in June 2020 our beautiful boy Finn arrived, the dreaming continues and wildcard photo is of Finn, sat in the drivers seat, the look on his face reminds me of when my Aston Martin dream started.
