The 1st generation Vanquish. 27,000 miles from new and one previous owner. Ordered in May 2002 with Bowland Black Paintwork with Osidian Black hides. Alan Baker who at that time worked for Aston Martin Stratstone in Park Lane, sold the car new to the previous owner. I am the second owner and also bought it from Alan Baker but under the name of Aston Sales of Kensington.
It was specified with the rare 2 + 0 seating which greatly enhances the cabin and provides a more spacious appearance commensurate with a GT specification.
Immediately after purchase the car was sent to Chiltern Aston in Hertfordshire for the nose cone to be removed and a special custom made mesh grill installed. Following the launch of the car in 2001 Works Service offered an upgrade of a Carbon Fibre centre console including door escutcheons, speedo and rev counter clocks. This I carried out shortly after I acquired the car in 2011. I prefer the look of the car and believe they are a subtle improvement to the design.
The car has never been restored and with exception of the cosmetic upgrades, still retains it‘s original paint and leather interior.
