In 2015, after recovering from a serious illness, my wife encouraged me to change in my car from my cherished DB7 which I had owned for some 13 years, to something different – and after much soul searching and days, weeks, months of research – I finally settled on the Vanquish, and in particular this pre-S example. A 2004MY, it is one of the last of the pre-S’s.
No garage queen, having clocked up 39,000 miles.
Pictures of it are regularly posted on Instagram, and I am always delighted at the very positive feedback I get, on what is arguably one of Astons finest looking models.
All completely original, and to that end has won first in its class in the 2016 Spring Concours – a very special moment for me, and my car. And the pride for my car remains no less another 4 years on.
