Originally supplied to Mr K Boulogne by HR Owen in 1967 the car has had an adventurous life being exported to the United States in 1984 by Mr James Dopps of Memphis Tennessee, before returning to the UK in 1988 where it resided in Dorset. During this period it was regularly serviced by Aston Dorset where all the service records remain. In 2009 the car was sold by a dealer, Auto Salon Singen Bilder, in Bodensee, Germany to Mr Hrovat of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He sent the car to Euromotor in Padova, Italy where the engine was completely rebuilt at considerable expense.
