1968 DB6
I purchased this DB6 through Bonhams when it failed to sell at the Goodwood Revival sale in 2018. It came with a newish mot but it soon became apparent that the work to the structure of the vehicle had been compromised so it spent most of the next year at Aston Martin Works. I then used it for a couple of months but I had been warned that it needed a full engine rebuild, so it was back to Newport Pagnell for another few months (the rebuild got caught in the first lockdown) and it was returned to me in mid 2020. I had just started the ’running in’ routine, including a round trip from North Hertfordshire to Bicester, then lockdown again. I hope to achieve the first post rebuild 1000 miles in 2021 eventually.
