Purchased almost 10 years ago from Gregor Fisken, YGP was the second chapter in what has become my ongoing DB saga.
It had recently returned from a 3 year sojourn in Japan, where it had been fitted with air conditioning and Borrani wheels.
Complete ownership history from day one, originally finished in Dubonnet Rosso, it then acquired it’s current racing peppermint colour scheme.
It was also at some stage converted to Vantage specification, and believe me it’s not just cosmetic. It goes very well indeed, on Continental motorways of course. Fitted with the fashionable, at the time, Webasto sunroof which oddly makes it a more enjoyable car.
Peter Stratford at Aston London, in collaboration with Gary Williams at Aston Engineering, carried out a full 4.2 engine rebuild, clutch etc. Otherwise just normal servicing and new brake servos, it is a very reliable tourer.
The last shot, the wild card, I found on an internet search for the registration number. It was taken in Belgium. Those were the days!
Kind regards, Keith Hill

Beautiful colour!
